Hartlepool forward James Brown is expected to return to training next week - but director of sport Chris Turner will not rush him back into action. It was discovered the 23-year-old had suffered a tear to lateral cartilage in his right knee after Pools` 3-1 home defeat to Southampton in November and following surgery Brown is now working his way back to fitness. "James is going to be back in training next week but he's still a little way from playing," Turner told the club`s official website. "He won't be rushed back into the team too early and risk doing any more damage because we need to take care of him. "At the end of the day James' career is much more important in the big picture and we need to ensure he comes back at the right time. "It's great news for us he's getting there because he's a very important player for us and I think we have missed him at times."
