Turner: Seagulls defeat was cruel

Skipper Michael Nelson put Pools ahead from close range in the 19th minute but veteran striker Nicky Forster levelled before Calvin Andrew, on loan from Crystal Palace, headed the winner.[LNB]Turner said: "We were badly let down by a couple of refereeing decisions. In the lead up to their winning goal, they got a free-kick when they shouldn't have done."[LNB]Turner was boosted, however, by the performance of striker Daniel Nardiello, who sparkled on his debut on-loan from Blackpool.[LNB]Nardiello terrorised Brighton's defence in the first half and Turner said: "It was so tough to lose as the players put in a very good performance.[LNB]"The Brighton keeper produced several important saves, and yet it was a much tougher game than we had on our last visit to Withdean Stadium. Brighton were much tougher and Micky Adams is starting to build the team he wants."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
