Headed goals in the space of a minute from Nicholas Bignall and Michael Raynes stunned the visitors and gave County an early 2-0 lead. But Boyd halved Hartlepool's deficit at the start of the second half and Behan completed the comeback in the 75th minute. Turner saluted his side's fightback and said: "We were disappointing for the first 35 minutes but after that, and particularly throughout the second half, we were excellent. "With our quality we can always get back into games, and it was also pleasing for me that our two strikers scored. Hopefully they can take that confidence into the weekend." "Stockport played very well early on, but we didn't help ourselves as we offered them too much room to play and pass. They've got some very talented young players. "We scored two very good goals in the second half though, but any team is capable of doing that when they've got quality players like we have. We could have even have gone on to nick a win towards the end."
