Hartlepool sport director Chris Turner believes his side can take credit for their efforts given the calibre of teams in League One this season.Pools are in a division with Norwich, Leeds, Charlton and Southampton and Turner has been pleased to see the club pull clear of danger in recent games. [LNB]"This has been the hardest League One division in recent history," Turner told BBC Tees. [LNB]"We've won three of four matches at a crucial time of the season." [LNB]Pools are currently seven points off the relegation places following their 3-0 defeat of Stockport on Tuesday, with four games left to play. [LNB][LNB] [LNB][LNB] "I've said to the players we don't want to look at the other results, but it's nice to look at the other results when you've recorded a win," Turner said. [LNB]"If we can get three points at Colchester on Saturday and then win one of the next three games then we will finish in a tidy position." [LNB]Midfielder Joe Gamble scored against Stockport and Turner feels he is tired after playing for Cork from March until November, before joining Pools in January. [LNB]"Joe's come in and made a fantastic impression in his early performances," Turner revealed. [LNB]"But he's played a lot of football in the last 12 months and sometimes it has showed a bit."
