Turner praises matchwinner Brown

Brown was playing only his second game since returning from a nine-month absence after rupturing his cruciate ligament last season. The striker fired home from 20 yards to hand Hartlepool their first win of the season and Turner insists there is more still to come from the young forward. The Pools director of sport said: "He is starting to run past people again with the ball and that goal will give him great confidence. "He was a vital missing piece last season as things started to fall apart. He can win games and score goals. All strikers get knocks, but we have a few coming back to fitness now so our options are getting stronger. "I have been pleased with all the performances this season, even the two home games that we lost. Charlton and Bristol Rovers were very good sides but we did well. We have done better here and hopefully against Norwich next Saturday, we'll do better again."
