Pools made it four matches without defeat after Adam Boyd gave them an early lead with a shot on the turn before Liam Dickinson levelled from the edge of the box.[LNB]Nicky Forster put Brighton ahead from six yards but poor defending allowed Andy Monkhouse to make it 2-2 and Ritchie Jones struck for Pools in first-half stoppage-time, before Forster secured a point for Brighton with a close-range finish.[LNB]Turner said: "Brighton put us under severe pressure in the second half but we didn't crack. A point is a fair slant on the game. We have a good team spirit and on another day we could have won it."[LNB]Pools had an excellent opportunity to make it three wins in a row when striker Boyd found himself in a good position late on, but he failed to take advantage.[LNB]"Boydy could have finished it," Turner admitted. "It was a great chance and he didn't realise how much time he had. But we went into the match to attack and we've been generally good defensively this season. It was a good entertaining game and we played our part in that. This was another away game when we have not been beaten."[LNB][LNB]
