Turner hails new Pools midfielder
The 26-year-old Irishman moved to Victoria Road from cash-strapped Stockport on Friday, having joined County from hometown club Cork City in 2007.
"Leon brings us something extra," Turner told the club's official website.
"He has great movement, great footballing attributes and work ethic. That is what we are trying to bring to the club.
"He likes to be involved in the action and I think he is an infectious sort of character.
"You just have to sit down with him to see how ambitious he is. He wants to do well for himself and for the team that he plays for."
