Turner eyes fresh blood at Pools
Pools have been linked with a season-long loan for another former favourite, goalkeeper Dimi Konstantopoulos, who is currently at Coventry.
Leicester defender Harry Worley and Sunderland's Peter Hartley are also thought to be on Turner's list of targets, while he may make a second move for Ryan McGivern who was set to join on loan from Manchester City in March.
Turner told the Hartlepool Mail: "The new season started weeks ago and I'm hoping to sign another player in the coming days."
