Michael Nelson earned the visitors a share of the spoils when he rose to head in Gary Liddle's corner and cancel out Scott Vernon's opener. Pools have taken four points from their last two away games, with the draw adding to their victory at Swindon last week. Turner said: "It's been a good week for us, especially after last Saturday (losing at home to Leyton Orient) and having the two away fixtures. "I felt that we played extremely well on Tuesday and this was a big performance. We got something out of the game that we deserved and it was a good battling point for us. "We were disappointed with the goal that went against us and we knew that we had to up the tempo in the second half. We looked like we would produce something, which we did."
