Turner checks out trialists
Hartlepool boss Chris Turner will continue to run the rule over four trialists during their pre-season tour of Holland.
Evan Horwood, Paul Murray and Fabian Yantorno are set to be included in the squad that flies out on Sunday while Kevin Bobson, who is a free agent following spells with NAC Breda, Espanyol and Red Bull Salzburg, will arrive at their KNVB base next week.
"They've been doing well in training but we're keen to take them with us next week," Turner told the club's official website.
"It's one thing watching them in training and practice matches here but it will be good to see them up against different players in a proper match situation.
"We're always looking to strengthen the squad and the work is ongoing to make sure we're in good shape for the start of the new League One season."
