Sweeney unfazed by goalscoring burden
Hartlepool's Antony Sweeney doesn't feel the pressure to score - despite his side relying on him for goals.
The midfielder has found the net eight times so far this season and with Pools lacking a prolific goalscorer, Sweeney isn't fazed after taking on the burden of goal scoring.
"I put pressure on myself to score whether the forwards are getting goals or not," he told the Sunderland Echo.
"It's always been a part of my games and I'm probably expected to score more than other players.
"That's something I've got no problems with but I don't mind who's getting them as long as we're winning - I'm sure the forwards will tell you differently, though.
"At the moment we're having to share the goals out a bit; Andy Monkhouse backs himself to get goals, Gary Liddle chips in with a few and the two centre-backs (Sam Collins and Peter Hartley) can get goals as well."
