Pools lose Lee-Barrett appeal
Lee-Barrett was dismissed in the 14th minute for bringing down Shrimpers striker Theo Robinson as he was bearing down on goal.
Pools decided to contest the decision after reviewing video evidence, but the FA rejected their appeal on Tuesday.
Lee-Barrett must now sit out Hartlepool's crucial relegation battle with Hereford at Victoria Park on Saturday.
