First-half goals from Deon Burton and Nicky Bailey on Saturday secured the win for the Addicks on their first visit to Victoria Park, but Turner refused to be too disheartened.[LNB]"It was a decent performance and at times we had the most chances, but games are about goals," he told the Hartlepool Mail. "Too many players looked not as sharp as they have been. We'll get better as the season goes on.[LNB]"Several of the players didn't match their performances from midweek. Sometimes that's understandable. We've thrown a team together in a short space of time and got some good results.[LNB]"We've been beaten by a team that I'm pretty certain will be in the top six come the end of the season," Turner added. "This was a good pointer.[LNB]"I don't think we're that far short and we'll see when we play Bristol Rovers on Tuesday how it's affected us."[LNB][LNB]
