Pools boss rues defensive lapses
Defensive slips allowed Scunthorpe to record a 3-2 victory at Victoria Park on Monday and Pools could still go down as they sit five points above the drop zone with three games to play.
Turner said: "We made mistakes and gave them soft goals, but I don't blame individuals.
"It's a team game and we have lost as a team. The basic problem is that we concede too many goals - if you are going to concede two goals every game, you are going to be in danger of being relegated.
"The good thing is that we are in the same situation as we were before the game and there's one less game to play. If we'd won, though, we'd be all but clear."
