Parker unsure over long-term future

Parker arrived at Victoria Park on an initial month-long loan deal from Huddersfield on Monday and was thrown straight into the side at home to Tranmere.[LNB]The 26-year-old Scot's deal could be extended until the end of the season should he impress, and even beyond if he settles with Pools.[LNB]Parker told the Hartlepool Mail: "I've not even looked as far as the summer. I've just come here to get my head down and work hard for the club to get them up the league.[LNB]"If I do that, it's good for me and more importantly good for the club. It's hard when you play in reserve games to get match sharp because they are a lot slower tempo.[LNB]"I played last week for Huddersfield against Bradford and got a hat-trick but you can't take much from it."[LNB][LNB]
