Monkhouse has completed his suspension having been booked for the 10th time this season.[LNB]Colin Larkin has started on the left in Monkhouse's absence and could find himself relegated to the bench.[LNB]Striker James Brown started his first game since November in the reserves' 1-1 draw against Lincoln in midweek, scoring Pools' goal in a 70-minute run-out.[LNB]He is unlikely to come into the starting line-up against the Shrimpers but should be utilised from the bench once again having played just over an hour's football in the last three first-team matches.[LNB]Centre-back Ben Clark sits out the last game of a three-match ban picked up playing for the reserves.[LNB][LNB]
