Mixed news for Wadsworth ahead of Seagulls test

Hartlepool caretaker manager Mick Wadsworth is without Ritchie Humphreys for the visit of league leaders Brighton. Humphreys is serving the second game of a three-match suspension after he was sent off for the first time in his 15-year career in the FA Cup draw to non-league minnows Vauxhall Motors. Striker James Brown has returned to full training following an ankle injury sustained in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy game against Northampton in August and is likely to be included in the Pools squad to face Gus Poyet's men. Fellow striker Adam Boyd could also be recalled to the squad after a back problem and Peter Hartley may start if he shrugs off an illness. Colin Larkin is unlikely to feature after struggling with a back injury.
