Hartlepool have signed Blackburn goalkeeper Jake Kean on a month`s loan. The 19-year-old will provide back-up for first-choice keeper Scott Flinders, with Andy Rafferty ruled out for three months after breaking two bones in his finger during training last week. Pools caretaker manager Mick Wadsworth told the club's official website: "Gary Walsh (Pools goalkeeping coach) has been aware of Jake coming through at Blackburn and has spoken to Bobby Mills (Blackburn goalkeeping coach) about him. "We're really pleased Blackburn have allowed him to come to Hartlepool and we're hoping his spell here will help with his development as well as help us with cover for Scott Flinders." Kean is expected to be on the bench for Pools' League One clash with Exeter on Saturday.
