The PFA Fan's Award for October for League Two goes to Luke James who has helped restore some much-needed pride at Hartlepool - and put a smile back on the face of Sky presenter Jeff Stelling.

The Soccer Saturday anchorman, as viewers MAY have gathered, is a massive Pool fan and has been suitably impressed with James’ goalscoring exploits this season.

The talented 18-year-old has come of age in a short space of time and three of his six goals to date came during October when Hartlepool chalked up four wins out of five league games.

Fans’ favourite Luke holds the record of being the youngest player to ever score for Hartlepool, at the age of 17 years and 64 days, and he has a big future ahead of him. Just ask Jeff!
