Horwood: Positive results will come

Hartlepool full-back Evan Horwood is backing his side to turn good performances into results as they aim for the League One play-offs. Pools have produced some promising displays of late but the results have not followed. Yet Horwood believes it is only a matter of time before their form transforms into points on the board. He told the Northern Echo: "I don't think we have been particularly bad. "On Saturday it wasn't a great game, but maybe a draw would have been a fair result. For Tuesday we need to get back to being solid like we have been away from home, that's the aim and what we need to do. "It's been three losses and things change, it's part of football. It may be a rubbish game there on Tuesday but it doesn't matter if we come away with a good result." He added: "We've done well of late, but we want to aim for the play-offs and have a chance for that. It's a big game for us."
