Horwood: Credit due to Daggers
Hartlepool defender Evan Horwood believes that Dagenham's 1-0 win at Victoria Park mirrored his side's own style.
Pools have a good record this season of claiming smash-and-grab wins on the road, with 1-0 wins at Bournemouth and Huddersfield earning first team coach Mick Wadsworth the Manager of the Month prize for December.
Speaking to the Hartlepool Mail, Horwood said: "They've done what we've done away from home this season so credit to them.
"They defended brilliantly, they set their stall out and did well.
"It was frustrating with the strong wind and it spoilt the game a bit.
"But fair play to them, they caught us on the break and scored a good goal."
