Hartlepool caretaker bosses Sam Collins and Stephen Pears could name an unchanged starting line-up for the home game against Luton.

Pools secured only their third win of the season last week at Exeter and have no new injury or suspension worries, but winger Jack Compton and defender Stuart Parnaby (both knee) are still out.

Midfielder Lewis Hawkins made his second full league appearance at Exeter and is hoping to continue, while teenager Kieran Green is pushing for his league debut after starting in the recent Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Sheffield United.

Pools have lost three home league games this season and are bidding for their second victory at Victoria Park in all competitions.

Ricky Miller is expected to be added to the Luton squad after Hatters boss John Still recalled the striker from his loan spell at Dover, where he scored five goals in 10 appearances for the Vanarama Conference club.

Miller, a free signing this summer from Boston, returns as fellow forward Ross Lafayette has undergone a hernia operation and Paul Benson is still getting back to full fitness.

Fraser Franks is back in training after his hernia surgery but he is unlikely to be available for the long trip to Victoria Park.

Jake Howells, who missed Saturday's win over Southend, is out with a stomach-related illness and Curtley Williams and Paul Connolly will be nursed back to health during the remainder of Michael Harriman's month-long loan spell from QPR.
