Moore of the same for Pools

Hartlepool boss Ronnie Moore is expected to select his side for the home game against Burton from an unchanged squad.

Moore has no major new injury or suspension issues following the midweek defeat at Dagenham but could be tempted to make one or two changes after blasting his players' performance.

Utility-man Matthew Bates faces an extended spell on the sidelines after undergoing surgery to aid his recovery from a severe dead leg.

Striker Scott Fenwick (ankle) and midfielder Tommy Miller (calf) are still sidelined and Michael Woods (dislocated ankle and fractured fibula) is out for the rest of the season.

Matty Palmer should return to the Burton squad as Albion look to bounce back from successive 1-0 defeats which have seen them surrender top spot in League Two.

Palmer has missed seven matches with a knee injury but the midfielder has two weeks' training under his belt and is expected to be named in the squad that travels to the north east.

Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will be forced into a change to his starting line-up as on-loan Blackburn midfielder Darragh Lenihan was this week recalled by his parent club. Tom Naylor, on loan from Derby, is expected to replace the Republic of Ireland Under-21 international in the team.

A hamstring problem continues to prevent Dutch defender Stefan Maletic, signed at the beginning of January, from making his debut for Albion.
