Pools missed a stack of early chances with Antony Sweeney the biggest culprit. First his one-on-one effort was smothered by Scott Tynan, then his lob went over the keeper but wide of the far post. The Motormen netted on 33 minutes but Joshua Wilson's header was long flagged offside. The home side were reduced to 10 men aftern 86 minutes when substitute striker Ritchie Humphreys slid in on Tynan.
