Gamble blow for Pools
Hartlepool midfielder Joe Gamble has been ruled out for up to four weeks with an ankle ligament injury.
Gamble sustained the injury in training last week and after visiting a specialist, the Irishman has been informed he faces a spell on the sidelines.
"The consultant has told us he is looking at three to four weeks out," Pools physio James Haycock told the club's official website.
"It's frustrating for Joe because he's come back this season fitter and stronger and has been doing extra work over and above on balance and strength.
"This injury is just one of those things where he has got his foot caught under him, which is disappointing really."
