Hartlepool`s injury woes continue to mount after goalkeeper Scott Flinders suffered a hand injury in training. Flinders will visit a specialist to determine the extent of the problem, but he is almost certainly out of Pools` trip to Brentford meaning youngster Jake Kean will make his debut. Back-up shot-stopper Andy Rafferty is already sidelined, while midfielder Joe Gamble and striker James Brown are also struggling with injuries. Caretaker manager Mick Wadsworth told the club`s official website: "It's unbelievable bad luck to lose two keepers in such a short space of time. "We'll have Scott assessed as soon as possible and hopefully we won't be without him for too long because he's a high quality goalkeeper."
