Flinders keepers for Scott

Hartlepool keeper Scott Flinders insists he is happy sticking to the day job despite his unlikely goalscoring heroics on Saturday. Flinders went up for a corner and headed a dramatic late equaliser to secure a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth and admitted he did not know how to celebrate. But the 24-year-old is content to go back to concentrating on keeping the ball out at one end, rather than sticking it in at the other. "It was a surreal moment when the ball came over and I think I closed my eyes when it hit my head," he told Pools Player. "But seeing it go in the goal and the crowd going wild, it was a special moment. I'll probably remember for the rest of my life. "The adrenalin starts pumping and you don't know what to do because you've never been in that scenario before. But I'd rather stick to the goalkeeping and keeping clean sheets."
