Collins doubtful for Pools

Hartlepool first team coach Mick Wadsworth will face a wait on the fitness of Sam Collins ahead of the trip to face Bristol Rovers. The defender has been struggling with a knee injury picked up in the New Year's Day win over Oldham and has been unable to feature in the three defeats since. Wadsworth will consult with Collins and the club's medical staff before making a decision on whether to include the centre-back against the Pirates. Goalkeeper Scott Flinders could earn a recall after recovery from a thumb ligament injury, and after on-loan keeper Jake Kean conceded in the 1-0 loss to Dagenham. Right-back Neil Austin could also be on the sidelines after being kicked in the calf against the Daggers.
