Clark excited for Holland trip
Pools returned to pre-season training last week and will head to Holland this Sunday, where they will be training at the KNVB Dutch national training camp, in Zeist.
"We can't wait to get out to Holland," Clark told the Hartlepool Mail. "Obviously everyone likes to play the games and start playing football.
"Pre-season doesn't get any easier, especially when it's red hot. But you've got to go through it and luckily the boys have all come back in good shape.
"Holland is fantastic with all the boys out there all together. We've got five new signings so we can get some team bonding.
"It's good to play the Dutch teams too because they are fantastic footballers, keep the ball well. We tend to chase a lot but that's good for the fitness work. We'll be with each other 24-7 for five days so it should be good."
