Budtz set for Pools starting role

Budtz came in for the suspended Arran Lee-Barrett against Hereford at the weekend and put in a solid display, pulling off a decent stop to deny Febian Brandy with the game poised at 2-2. Lee-Barrett is available for the Gresty Road clash, but Pools boss Turner has hinted he is unlikely to make changes. He told the Hartlepool Mail: "I thought Jan did well against Hereford. He made a very good save when it was 2-2 and he didn't do anything wrong. "Goalkeeper is a very important position and it is not something you want to be messing around with. You have got to be supportive of the player who has done well in there. The player has to be confident he is being selected on his performances. "I said to Jan before the game, it is up to him - if he plays well, he stays in the team. He has not done anything wrong and the team has won so why the need for a change?"
