Boyd on target in friendly win

Left-back Joe Lamplough, who was released by Hull during the summer, started the game and opened the scoring with a stunning 25-yard free-kick before he was replaced by Brechin's Willie Dyer at the break. Derby's Jeremy Bossekota played 78 minutes of the clash, American goalkeeper Patrick Mitrovich played the second 45 minutes, while Brandon forward Billy Greulich came on in the second half to complete the scoring. Sunderland youngster Niall McArdle, former Black Cats full-back Dan Smith and ex-Rangers defender Ross Harvey all played the full 90 minutes.
