Austin still out for Pools

Hartlepool first-team coach Mick Wadsworth will again be without defender Neil Austin for the trip to league leaders Brighton. The right-back is still struggling with the calf injury he sustained in the 4-0 defeat at Oldham on February 1 which forced him out of the hard-fought 1-0 win over Colchester last weekend. Pools have no fresh injury or suspension problems to contend with but Wadsworth has options available if he decides to change his starting line-up. Winger Andy Monkhouse and striker Colin Larkin impressed after coming on as substitutes against the Us and the pair will be hoping to play more prominent roles against the Seagulls. Loan striker Ryan Donaldson will also be hoping for a recall after scoring for the reserves against Grimsby in midweek. Pools will be looking for a second successive win after ending their seven-game winless streak last weekend.
