Hannover go for Schlaudraff

Hannover claim to have agreed a deal to sign Germany international striker Jan Schlaudraff from Bayern Munich for next season.
The 24-year-old has only been with Bayern for one season, but has become frustrated at a lack of opportunities, having failed to start a game for the runaway Bundesliga leaders.
Schlaudraff is now reported to have signed a four-year contract with Hannover, where he will link up with his coach from time with Alemannia Aachen, Dieter Hecking.
Hecking told his club's official website: "I obviously know Jan very well and I am convinced that his abilities will help us."
Schlaudraff himself added: "I am sure that Hannover has good prospects for the coming years and hope personally that I can develop further as a player under coach Dieter Hecking."
Schlaudraff has won three caps for Germany to date, but his lack of action for Bayern is likely to see him miss out on this summer's European Championship finals.
