Reid cool over Cerny rumours

Hamilton Academical boss Billy Reid is cool over reports that goalkeeper Tomas Cerny is being tracked by both Celtic and Rangers.

The 23-year-old Czech is currently on loan with the Accies from Sigma Olomouc, but Reid is comfortable with the situation.

He told the Daily Express: "It doesn't surprise me that Tomas is attracting attention.

"He has been outstanding for us over the course of the SPL season and during the latter stages of our title-winning season in the first division last term.

"We know exactly what the situation is at Sigma and that does not alter the fact that we are confident of keeping Tomas.

"None of this type of speculation is new to Hamilton, as we have many talented young players."
