Reid backs Antoine-Curier

Hamilton Academical manager Billy Reid is confident that loan signing Mickael Antoine-Curier will prove to be a success with the SPL club.

The much-travelled 26-year-old has joined from Dundee, on an initial deal running until January, with Reid hoping that Antoine-Curier earns a longer stay.

He told the Hamilton Advertiser: "His goalscoring record is exceptional. He's already played in the SPL, he started eight games for Hibs and scored four goals so he's a proven goalscorer.

"We're going to give him a platform to show he can score goals.

"It's up to us to make the chances and it's up to Antoine-Curier to show the right attitude and hopefully win a longer contract at our place."
