McArthur to train with Wigan

Hamilton Academical midfielder James McArthur has confirmed that he will train with Wigan Athletic ahead of a possible summer move south of the border.

The 22-year-old looks set to follow former Accies team-mate James McCarthy to the DW Stadium, but McArthur insists that nothing is settled just yet.

He told BBC Scotland: "I'll train with them for a few days, so that'll be good.

"The gaffer and my agent are sorting it out, so I'll let them deal with it and I'll just keep playing away.

"Right now, I'm just concentrating on my own game here and, hopefully, we can keep picking up points.

"It would be a massive step-up for me, but it's not certain that I'm going to move.

"I don't want to keep saying the same things, I just want to concentrate on my own game and maybe add a few goals to it."
