McArthur plays waiting game

Hamilton Academical midfielder James McArthur says that he is happy to remain with the SPL club for the time being.

The 22-year-old has seen both James McCarthy and Brian Easton head for England in recent times, but is content to bide his time before pondering a move south.

"It is difficult to go from playing every week to not getting a regular game," McArthur commented.

"James and Brian have found it frustrating although it's been a good experience for them so far.

"They want to play but have some money behind them now. I'm sure both will make a breakthrough, if not this season then next one.

"Staying in the SPL and playing every week isn't the worst thing in the world, but who's to say I wouldn't get a game if I moved down south?"
