McArthur happy with Accies

Midfielder James McArthur claims he is happy at Hamilton Academical despite reported interest from Premier League clubs.

Portsmouth and Burnley are believed to be interested in both McArthur and fellow Accies starlet James McCarthy.

However, McArthur claims he is not desperate to follow Brian Easton south of the border following the defender's recent decision to join Burnley.

"Brian is away and it's a great move for him," he said.

"But until any firm bids come in for me then it's just speculation about my future. I'm a Hamilton player and I am happy to be here.

"I've got ambitions, I want to play at the top level, but I'm at Hamilton and another year in the top flight in Scotland will not do me any harm."
