Hamilton boss Billy Reid has revealed that striker Mark Corcoran is to see a specialist in a bid to resolve his hip problem.

The 27-year-old striker has missed Accies' last two games with a problem that has the club's medical staff puzzled.

"The problem is slightly difficult. He'll have to go and see a specialist," said Reid.

"We're just waiting to see what sort of results we get back. It's causing him a wee bit of distress at the moment.

"He's played with it for a few weeks so we have to be careful with him."
