Busy Accies snap up Andrews

Hamilton Academical have agreed deals with three players after allowing James McCarthy to join Burnley and Joel Thomas to move to Colchester United.

Teenage midfielder McCarthy will move to Wigan Athletic in a seven-figure deal while Thomas has agreed a £125,000 move to Colchester.

Meanwhile, experienced former Rangers defender Marvin Andrews has signed for Accies until the end of the season while goalkeeper Tomas Cerny has made his loan switch to the club permanent after a £180,000 fee was agreed with Sigma Olomouc for his services

In addition, defender Trent McClenahan has agreed terms on a deal with the club until the end of the season.
