Accies resigned to Easton exit

Hamilton chairman Ronnie McDonald expects Brian Easton's move to Burnley to be completed shortly.

The Clarets have already had one bid - believed to be £300,000 plus appearance-based incentives - rejected by Accies.

However, Burnley boss Owen Coyle is believed to be on the verge of launching a second bid to sign the highly-rated Easton.

Accies chairman Ronnie McDonald said: "We've opened discussions with Burnley. They'll remain confidential but are ongoing."
