Accies keeping Wesolowski

Hamilton Academical boss Billy Reid is pleased to have extended the loan stay of midfielder James Wesolowski until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old Australian moved north of the border from Leicester City and has settled in quickly with the Accies.

Reid told The Advertiser: "I'm delighted we got something sorted out with Wesolowski, I'm really happy with him.

"He's the type of player I want at this club and I think there's lots more to come from him. He's just 22 and still a young guy, so there's a lot more development there."

However, midfielder Gary Mason has left the Accies after making just a handful of appearances since his arrival earlier on in the campaign.
