Accies fear striker exit

Hamilton Academical manager Billy Reid is anxiously waiting to see whether his club can agree an extension to loan striker Mickael Antoine-Curier's stay at New Douglas Park.

The 26-year-old has impressed since joining from Dundee, but was unhappy with the Accies' initial offer.

Reid told the Daily Record: "We have not been able to agree terms with Mickael yet.

"We have agreed terms with Dundee to take him on loan again, but just not with the player. I hope we can do something, but everything is dictated by finances."

Antoine-Curier had earlier warned: "If they negotiate or come back with a better offer I will stay. I think I have proved enough to Hamilton to earn something for myself.

"I am grateful to them to be playing in the SPL, but at this time of year and with the situation I am in, I have to look out for myself as well."
