Accies boss hoping for closure

Manager Billy Reid is hoping to draw a line under last weekend's controversial clash with Hearts when the Scottish Premier League resumes at the weekend.

Accies were 2-1 winners over Hearts last weekend in a game which saw four red cards.

Hearts had captain Michael Stewart and Ismael Bouzid sent off during the stormy gamer at New Douglas Park.

Unused Hamilton substitute Leon Knight and hearts pair Suso Santana and Ian Black were then shown red cards following a post-match melee in the tunnel.

But when asked about a potential punishment for Knight ahead of Saturday's trip to Aberdeen, Reid admitted he was hoping for closure.

"I'm not saying we are going to fine Leon Knight, I'm not going to say that we're not fining him. We'll listen to what the SFA have got to say," he explained.

"I'm trying to draw a line under it because I think we got dragged into something that been boiling over at Hearts for quite a few weeks now.

"We just want to move on."
