Duo absent for Accies

Louis Longride and Jonny Routledge will miss out for Hamilton against Queen of the South.

Longride has a foot problem and Routledge a knee injury as Hamilton look to keep the Championship's only perfect record in tact.

New signing Mickael Antoine-Curier will not feature as international clearance from his last club in Kazakhstan has not been received.

New Douglas Park manager Alex Neil said: "We played really well to defeat Dumbarton 4-1 in our last outing and it is a case of same again please from me.

"We are playing a side that is full of confidence and scoring a lot of goals so it will not be a case of just turning up and winning."

Queen of the South midfielder Derek Young returned to training this week after a toe injury and he is in manager Jim McIntyre's plans.

The Doonhamers have scored 16 times in their five games this season and McIntyre knows that his men will need to be just as deadly against the Accies.

He explained: "Scoring is the hardest part of the game and we have been good in that department so far. However, Hamilton are the form team in this league.

"They have an experienced spine to their team and we will need to work really hard to get on top of them."
