Banned trio miss Accies title tilt

Hamilton have been hit by a triple suspension blow for their meeting with relegated Morton as player/manager Alex Neil, Martin Canning and Darian MacKinnon all miss out.

Stephen Hendrie will return if he shakes off an ankle knock for the second-placed side, who will be crowned champions if they win and Dundee stumble.

Neil said: "It was disappointing to lose to Dumbarton last week but that has gone.

"We need to concentrate on beating a Morton side that have been playing well against title-chasing sides recently.

"Even if Dundee win there is a prize for finishing in second place in terms of by-passing one stage of the play-offs."

Morton bring the curtain down on a disappointing season with Ben Sampayo (knee), Marc Fitzpatrick (ankle), Reece Hands (hip) and David O'Brien (hamstring) all ruled out.

Goalkeeper Derek Gaston and Garry O'Connor are injury doubts with manager Kenny Shiels looking for the same approach that has taken points of title challengers in recent weeks.

Shiels said: "We have improved and that has been shown with our win over Dundee and draw with Falkirk.

"Hamilton have two goals to aim for and that makes it dangerous for us.

"They want to win the league and if they cannot do that they want a win for second place and a quicker play-off route."
