Page turns to Accies

Hamilton have secured the signing of defender Jonathan Page on a permanent basis ahead of the visit of Falkirk.

Page returns to the Accies, where he was on loan, after being released by Motherwell.

Kilmarnock's Gary Fisher has extended his loan deal and will face the Bairns, although manager Billy Reid will again be without the injured Ryan Finnie, Stephen Hendrie, Kieran Millar and Jon McShane.

Reid said: "We ended 2012 playing well and are looking forward to our first game of 2013.

"We have not had much luck against Falkirk since we came into the First Division but we will put that behind us and go out and look to win this one."

Falkirk have captain Darren Dods suspended so teenager Ryan McGeever is expected to come in as his replacement while fellow defender Kieran Duffie is available after a ban.

Duffie should return at right-back to allow David Weatherston to concentrate on a more attacking role as the Bairns look to get the 4-3 defeat by bottom side Dumbarton out of their system.

Technical director Alex Smith said: "We have been frustrated that we have not played since that game as a crazy 10-minute spell cost us a win.

"We want to put things right although defeating Hamilton will be difficult as they, like us, have a number of outstanding young players that like to play good attacking football."
