Duo miss out for Hamilton

Hamilton will be without the services of Grant Gillespie and Jon Routledge through suspension as they host Dumbarton at New Douglas Park for the first time in nearly nine years.

Striker Kieran Millar also misses out with a knee injury as the Accies look to build on last Saturday's 2-0 win over Falkirk.

Manager Billy Reid said: "That was a really good performance and we could have actually won the game by more. We have to play just as well again as I watched Dumbarton in midweek and they are a terrific side coming forward.

"They have scored eight times in their last two games so we know that we will need to work incredibly hard to keep their strikers quiet. If we do that we have a platform to win."

Dumbarton striker Garry Fleming will be missing with a knee injury as the Sons look to move up to seventh place by defeating Hamilton in the first of two meetings in three days between the teams.

Alan Lithgow is ready to start after shaking off a virus with player/manager Ian Murray looking for his men to build on Wednesday's 4-2 success over Raith.

Murray said: "Winning that game took us 11 points clear of Airdrie in bottom spot. It also brought Hamilton into our sights and it will have unsettled Raith as they are a target for us now as well.

"We defeated Hamilton at our place a couple of months ago so we can go there with confidence."
