Hamilton look to stretch lead

Unbeaten Championship leaders Hamilton will be without recent signing Jesus Garcia Tena due to illness as they take on Cowdenbeath.

Jonathan Routledge remains absent due to a knee injury, with player/ manager Alex Neil telling his men that they will be facing a confident side.

"Cowdenbeath are coming here after two wins in a row so they will fancy taking something from us as well," he said.

"We want a win as the two sides immediately below us, Falkirk and Dundee, are playing each other and someone is going to drop points."

Cowdenbeath striker Greg Stewart is in player/ manager Colin Cameron's thoughts for a starting place against the Accies after a matchwinning role against Falkirk last Saturday.

The Blue Brazil also have Jamie Stevenson available after a hamstring problem.

Cameron said: "Greg has given me a selection headache of the right kind by coming on and scoring against Falkirk. We are heading to Hamilton with a bit of confidence after two wins but Greg did what he was asked to do as a substitute by making an impact.

"We won there last season when they were also on a good run but this time the game means something to them."
