Trochowski poised to move on

Hamburg midfielder Piotr Trochowski has admitted that he is considering leaving the club this summer.

The 25-year-old Germany international is concerned about the club's future ambition, following the exit of head coach Martin Jol.

Trochowski said: "I actually feel happy in Hamburg, but I am not married to HSV.

"For four years we have only just been sneaking into the UEFA Cup, but I want to improve and win titles, so something has got to change.

"If that does not happen with HSV, then it will have to happen with another club.

"I don't feel I have the support of the club's management. It has got to be clear how HSV are planning with me and I cannot see that yet.

"The club has got to make its stance known. I have got to talk to them and there has got to be a clear statement coming from the club."
